The wrath of Claire

What a week it's been!

This week Claire found a pair of scissors and chopped her hair off on the left side:

She also found some nail polish that Emma left lying around. What a mess she made:

Between it all, she helped Daddy shovel the snow:

A few weeks ago, she got out of her pajamas and put on her bathing suit:

Oh boy...I better go check on her and see what she is doing!

Never phone in your cake order!

I received the following in a forwarded e-mail this week:

Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:

Wal-Mart Employee: “Hello 'dis Wal-Mart, how can I help you?”
Customer: “Yes, I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.”
Wal-Mart Employee: “Whatchu want on the cake?”
Customer: “Best Wishes Suzanne.” And underneath that “We will miss you”.

Sad but true. This actually happened.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It's cold out!

At the time of this posting, it's 4 degrees out. As you can see above, tomorrow will warm up slightly!

We called the folks in Florida this afternoon...it's only 84 degrees and sunny! They are doing well and enjoying themselves.

Next month from now (exactly 4 weeks from today), we will be in sunny Mexico staying at the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa. Here's a few pictures from their website:
We are looking forward to this trip. Only 4 more weeks!

Sledding Day

We went sledding today at Leah's school. Enjoy the slide show below.

Over the next couple of days, the temperature will get up to the 50's. Most of the snow will probably melt away.

Just before midnight on December 31st, I took a few pictures of the family. The girls wanted to stay up and watch the ball drop. We let them do it if they could stay awake. To our surprise, everyone stayed awake! We all were in bed by 12:10 AM!
